CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

1. OVERVIEW

This Cancellation & Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all paid services offered by DEZN AI ("Company," "We," "Us," or "Our") on the DEZN.ai platform ("Platform"), including subscription plans (Akruti and Virasat), recurring UPI AutoPay mandates, and one-time purchases of design credits ("Gems").

By making a payment on the Platform, you ("Designer," "User," or "You") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. NATURE OF SERVICES

DEZN.ai is a digital, software-as-a-service platform. Paid purchases unlock immediate access to AI generation tools, subscription features (e.g., order tracking, branded PDF bills, community access), and consumable design credits ("Gems"). Because the services are digital and consumed immediately upon access, all purchases are governed by the refund rules set out in this Policy and are otherwise considered final.

3. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION

3.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel any active subscription plan at any time from the Billing page in your account. Alternatively, you may email support@dezn.ai from your registered email address with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" and we will action the request within two (2) business days.

3.2 Effect of Cancellation

Cancellation stops all future recurring charges and the UPI AutoPay mandate associated with your subscription. Your paid plan features will remain available until the end of the already-paid billing period, after which your account will automatically revert to the Aarambh (Free) tier. Cancellation does not, by itself, trigger a refund for the current period.

3.3 UPI AutoPay Mandate Revocation

For Virasat (Yearly) and any other plan billed via PhonePe UPI AutoPay, cancellation on the Platform revokes the recurring mandate with PhonePe. You may additionally revoke the mandate directly from your UPI app (Mandates → DEZN AI → Revoke). Once revoked, no further debits will be attempted. We recommend cancelling at least 48 hours before the next scheduled debit to ensure the bank processes the revocation in time.

3.4 Yearly Plans Billed Monthly

For yearly plans that are billed in monthly installments via UPI AutoPay (e.g., Virasat Yearly), you commit to a twelve (12) month billing period at the time of purchase. Cancellation will stop future debits, but already-debited monthly installments are non-refundable except where this Policy expressly provides otherwise (see Section 5).

4. GEM (CREDIT) PURCHASES

Gems are virtual license credits used to meter access to AI generation tools. Once Gems are credited to your account, they are considered consumed for the purpose of refunds and are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the cases described in Section 5 (e.g., duplicate charge, gateway failure where Gems were not actually credited).

Unused Gems do not expire as long as your account remains in good standing. Account termination for violation of our Terms of Service results in forfeiture of all unused Gems without refund.

5. REFUND ELIGIBILITY

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following cases:

  • Duplicate charge: Your account was debited more than once for the same order due to a technical error.
  • Payment captured, service not delivered: Your payment was successfully captured by the payment gateway (PhonePe or other) but the corresponding subscription was not activated or Gems were not credited to your account within 24 hours, and our support team is unable to reconcile and grant the entitlement manually.
  • Unauthorized recurring debit: A UPI AutoPay debit occurred after you had successfully cancelled the subscription through the Platform.
  • Statutory entitlement: Any other case where a refund is required by applicable law.

Refunds are not available for: change of mind, dissatisfaction with the aesthetic results of AI-generated designs, partial use of a billing period, failure to use purchased Gems, account termination for violation of our Terms, or any cause attributable to actions taken by you in good faith use of the Platform.

6. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund under Section 5, email support@dezn.ai from your registered email address within seven (7) days of the disputed charge with the following information:

  • Your registered email address and designer name
  • Order ID or transaction reference (visible on the Billing page)
  • Date and amount of the charge
  • Reason for the refund request, with any supporting evidence (e.g., bank statement screenshot)

We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours and communicate a decision within seven (7) business days of receiving complete information.

7. REFUND PROCESSING

Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment instrument used for the transaction (UPI ID, bank account, debit card, or credit card, as applicable). We do not offer refunds in cash, to alternative accounts, or as Platform credits unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Once a refund is initiated by us, the funds typically reflect in your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank's and PhonePe's settlement cycles. The Company is not responsible for delays attributable to the payment gateway, acquiring bank, or your issuing bank.

Where a refund is approved, any Gems credited to your account in connection with the refunded transaction will be reversed, and any subscription features unlocked by that transaction will be deactivated.

8. CHARGEBACKS

We request that you contact support@dezn.ai before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or UPI provider. Most issues can be resolved directly and faster through our support team. Fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks may result in suspension of your account and forfeiture of any unused Gems and subscription entitlements.

9. SHIPPING & RETURNS

DEZN.ai is a fully digital service. We do not ship any physical goods, and consequently there is no return or replacement policy applicable to our services. All deliverables — including AI-generated designs, PDF bills, and account features — are delivered electronically through the Platform.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at https://dezn.ai/refund. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address at least seven (7) days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after a Policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
